We finish the refurbishment of the EAIA Sant Andreu offices

The purpose of this project was to define the new distribution of the EAIA (Child and Adolescent Services) Sant Andreu offices, in an open space on the ground floor, located in building of apartments. It is a place of 167.87 m2, previously unused, which has direct access from Passeig Torras i Bages and exit to the backyard. In the back of the premises there is a difference of 72 cm, to adjust to the level of the pavement on the backyard. The plant has an L-shape, becoming wider in the back and higher part. The functional program consists of the following areas: reception-waiting room with direct access from the street, administration and technical office with customer service counter, direct to the waiting room, two interviews rooms with access from the hallway, interconnected and with adjacent areas, team work and meeting room, adapted toilet, changing room, cleaning room and back office with 10 technical work stations. This space includes a file, a kitchen and a toilet for staff. From the back office there is an exit to the backyard. This project has been completed out in four months (from March to July) with a budget of 270,124€. It has been led by Jordi Morató as manager and Rafael Pérez as foreman. The architect who designed the project is Roger Montoto Manent, from 23:45 Architects. The result can be seen in the images.
