The company asumes its responsibility in the sustainable growth of our society, through policies on the reduction of the environmental impact on its activity and a protocol for the waste management. MAHECO introduced on June 2010 the norm ISO 14001 for the waste management.

With regard to health and safety, MAHECO has all the resources for the prevention of occupational hazards at its disposal, with a Works comitee for the prevention of hazards and the active participation of workers. The company has the norm OHSAS 18001 for the health and safety management.
