The students of the American School of Barcelona have inaugurated a new building this school year. They have more than 4000m2 of new construction distributed in 5 heights: the ground floor that houses a sports center, the first and second floors which contain classes, the mezzanine floor and the rooftop. The spaces are wide and bright, the design is modern and the furniture allow a flexible use of the classrooms. It has been a large project that started in July 2017 and ended in October 2018. It has not been the only one that has been carried out in this school. We have also worked in the exterior urbanization and in the phase 1 of the reform of building A, which will have a second phase next summer. The project has been designed by the architects Roger Mercadé and Ferran Besa, from the studio Arq71.
