This summer we have worked again at the American School of Barcelona and we have carried out various activities, mostly outdoors.
The most outstanding task has been the placement of shade sails in the interior patio and amphitheater area. Shadow areas have been created in the courtyard between buildings A and B, and in the amphitheater of the basketball court. For a better use of these spaces, these sailing shades are removable so that in the lower temperature season students can take advantage of the sun's heat.
In addition, ceramic paving has been placed on the exterior staircase, it has been paved with colored concrete for the location of the provisional stage in the patio and the “saulo” has been replaced in the outdoor area.
In the kitchen, the false ceiling has been removed and a new ceiling has been installed, placing luminaires throughout the space.
