Distrito Dance (www.distritodance.com), a dance school in Sabadell (Ronda Ponent, 24), was opened last September 14th. Maheco delivered an ambitious project in just two months and a half: 5 commercial premises were united to create a large school. The project began with the demolition of the original walls, continued with acoustic insulation, divisions, systems, fencing and pavement and ended with finishes and decoration. The result is a 715-square meters school divided in 2 floors consisting of 5 rooms, common spaces, changing rooms, toilets, staff room and office. This project was led by Marc Vizcaino (Project Manager) and Abdelkader Doudor (Foreman), and has been designed by Ferran Besa, architect of the study ARQ71 & associats (www.arq71.com) in Barcelona, with whom we work regularly. In Maheco we are very proud of the result, which you can see in the pictures. We encourage everyone to sign up in Distrito Dance. It is wonderful to dance there! :)
