Turkey Eartquake Charity Collection

Early on Sunday to Monday, February 6th, an intense earthquake of magnitude 7,4 on the Richter scale shook Turkey with an epicenter in Kahramanmaras, in the south of the country. The tremor also affected Syria, and days later, affershocks continue to be recorded that have affected other countries such as Lebanon and Iraq and are complicating rescue efforts, as well as the winter storm. The earthquake has caused a humanitarian catastrophe with more than 16.000 dead.

Maheco will be a collection point for both food and clothing and other goods (non-perishable food such as preserves, baby milk powder, diapers, cleaning and hygiene materials, portable batteries for mobile phones, warm clothes, tents, blankets, thermos, flashlights, etc.).

We ask you to spread this information to all your acquaintances.

The office, located in Santa Anna 44 street, will be open from 08:00h to 19:00h Monday to Thursday and Friday from 08:00h to 18:00h.

The last day to bring aid will be Friday 17th of February.

Any contribution, however small, will help the large number of people affected by the eartquake.
