On 29, 30 and 31 August, and 1 September, the GoldenCat International Hockey Tournament was held at CEM CAN XARAU in Cerdanyola del Vallès.
This roller hockey competition featured top teams including France, Portugal, Italy, Argentina and Catalonia. Junior teams such as Cataluña, Asociaçao de Patinagem de Lisboa, Breganze, Sam Merignac and Cerdanyola CH also participated.
The Catalan team shone in the GoldenCat, reaching the final in both men’s and women’s categories. On the one hand, the women’s team was crowned champion of the tournament, taking the cup with a victory against Portugal. On the other hand, the men’s team fought until the end but lost by just two points to Portugal.
Maheco, as a sponsor of the Cerdanyola Hockey Club, has participated in the tournament, reaffirming its support with the local sport and teams. During the four days of the event, we distribute merchandise to attendees, including bags, cans and pens. Our company logo could be clearly seen on the floor of the main track and on the fences of the additional track.
