A few weeks ago we finished a project of conservation and maintenance of the roof at the Fontetes Market in Cerdanyola del Vallès. The project was divided into two phases: dismantling the roof of cement and formation of a new roof with metal sheets. In the first phase a specialized company was responsible of removing all the plates that were placed on the cement vaulting of the market. Once this task was completed, we proceeded to waterproof the entire roof, place insulation, install metal plates and finally make the perimeter finishing. The renovated area has 1611.88 m2 and the budget was € 150,429.13. The project began on July 26 and lasted two months. It was designed by the architect Roberto Aparicio, from the studio AR47 SCP, and the project was supervised by Ferran Badell, supervisor of Maheco.
