This week we have started the construction of the new building at The American School of Barcelona. This building will have 3 floors - the ground floor will contain a sports court and the first and second floors will be formed by classrooms. In addition, on the rooftop there will be another sports court and the accesses for the students to the rest of buildings of the school will also be remodelled. This is a sizable project, with more than 4,000 m2 to build, 13 months of duration and a large team of professionals led by a foreman and two supervisors. The project has been designed by Ferran Besa and Roger Mercadé, from ARQ 71. The images are elevations of the final result.
